Tangent Systems offers training in the installation of Deposit21 systems at the company’s
location in the Northwest Chicago suburbs. This training provides qualified individuals
with the experience needed to install the Deposit21 software, configure it to meet the
user’s requirements and train the operators in its use. Students will also learn about
the capabilities and concepts of the software, enabling them to assist with pre-sales support.
They will be exposed to the tools and techniques used to troubleshoot common installation and
operational problems. The training covers Deposit21’s optional Check Services as well as the
core Clearing Services.
Students attending should first be familiar with the following:
• Software installation under Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 / 2008
• SQL Server Management Studio and usage of SQL scripts
• Configuring IIS with new web sites and virtual directories
• Installation and configuration Windows Components, e.g., MSMQ
• Configuration of Windows file sharing and permissions
